Wow! I have just read an article by Jonathon Brocklehurst on the facts and figures of diabetic foot ulcers. Amongst other facts, he states that approximately 64,000 patients with diabetes are thought to have diabetic foot ulcers at any given time.
Remember to check your feet regularly for any cuts or trauma if you are a diabetic patient.
